high money hair do.

Our doctor sent us up to primary children's hospital for Emily.

We were put on a waiting list and were given a 2-3 day notice of when we needed to be up there.

We meant with the doctor and he didn't really give us any new information. It was the same stuff that the doctors were telling us down here. The Doctor wanted to do and EEG just to make sure that Emily wasn't having seizures. The doctor was able to get us in the same day for the EEG.

So for this EEG they put on a heart monitor on Emily's chest and one that checked her breathing. Something like our apnea monitor.

then they put on the electrodes on her head. there is 23 of them on her tiny head.

before they could put on the electrode they had to clean her head in that spot so they used a blue soap that had some kind of gritty stuff in it. They then took a big glob of stuff that was like Vaseline on the end of the electrode and then they taped it to her head. It took them only 3 or 4 minutes to get all of it on.

they were all over they then wrapped her head so that the electrodes would not get pulled off. They wanted Emily sleeping for the test. SO i got to hold her and i feed her then it was lights out for 25 minutes.

It was fun just to snuggle her.

After the 25 minutes they came in and did a strobe test.

This is were they pointed a light at her face and made it blink like a strobe.

At first it was slow and then it kept getting faster. the light was really really bright.

Emily did not wake up but it made me sick. I didn't even have the light at my face but it made me sick.

You cant see her hair to good but it was curly and sticking up. It was kind of cute but it was pricey.

How they got the hair do. they took all the wires in one hand and pulled. Yep they yanked all that tape off all at one time. then they took a wet wash cloth and rubbed her hair. and there you have it. That's how you pay for a high priced hair do.Cute litter stinker.
