Maccoy was helping me with one of my photo classes. The class was on Capturing a full range of expressions. Well i think this photo hit it...
I showed Brady and he laughed so hard that it made me laugh harder i thought i was going to pee my pants i was laughing so hard!!!
We see this stuff all the time i am just glad that i got a picture of it..
She is such a great kid..
That might just be a face that only a mother could love or at least in my case laugh at...

Maccoy

What a girl!!! This is just Maccoy what can I say.. I just love her so much and she reminds me so much of me!! The last time that we went down to my grandma Pectol's for a visit we were looking at some of her photo albums and there was a picture that I could have passed off as Maccoy, but it was taken back in 1984. It was me. I was laughing so hard. Because at that moment it hit me that when Maccoy pulls some of her faces I am staring at me!! Oh help me. If Maccoy and I both can survive, it will be a good thing. I cant believe how much she is like me!!! This could get interesting.

Maccoy's hand

This is of Maccoy's hand. We had just got back from the doctors office. She had her stitches removed on Thursday. 4-2-09. Maccoy's hand looks really well ware they did the surgery but the rest of her hand look kind of ruff.

Maccoy's Hand has red marks from the bandage that they put on her hand.

Ok so the photo with the green shirt is Lindsay hand! I was taking pictures of Maccoys hand and Lindsay had to have a picture of her hand so every one can see how good it is doing. The rest of the pictures are of Maccoy's hand.

This photo is of a pressure sore that she got on the side of her hand from the bandage being too tight. we had to loosen that bandage. The doctor says it's nothing to worry about but it doesn't look to good.

Kindergarten Registration

Today Maccoy went and registered for kindergarten. The poor girl is soooooo excited that she can't stand it. I thought she was going to be like those dogs that pee on the floor every time the door bell rings.
Maccoy jumped in and did all that she was asked. She did really well for not having the range of motion that she should have in her thumb yet. She got her stitches out on Thursday.
She past her vision and hearing screening. She hardly missed any on her lowercase letters and she didn't miss anything else.
She met her teacher today. Her teachers name is Mrs. Mathews. After we got done registering we went and checked out the library and talked to the librarian Mrs. Orton (I know her from working at Parown elementary and i use to work for her at the pizza barn) We also got to talk to Mr. Porter the principle. Maccoy just thought it was so neat to see the school and meet all these new people. Maccoy told me that she was going to make so many new friends and she couldn't wait. We also went to her classroom and checked it out. She cant wait to get a backpack to hang up at school.(she already has a backpack picked out) Then we went and checked out the lunch room.
Maccoy wants to eat at the lunch room and she doesn't want to wait another whole year! (Till 1st grade)
When we were in the van coming home she could not stop talking about going to school. All I can say is this is going to be a long long long long 5 months before school starts. I am so happy and glad for her. I cant wait for her to start school. I don't think i have ever seen her this excited to do something before.

Maccoy and Lindsay Dancing

I am sorry that the light was not better in this video. I had a lot more video that would make you fall off your chair laughing but the lighting was so poor that it didn't show up. Any ways we were watching something on TV and Maccoy started dancing with it. It was just funny. The part that I don't have on here is her butt shake. SO funny. So enjoy sorry about the lighting. The first 4 seconds is the best!! and of course Lindsay had to get in and start dancing/ jumping around. You have to love kids. They are the best and they always keep you on your toes or on the floor laughing till you pee your pants:)

Maccoy's Surgery

Here are a few pictures of Maccoy when she went in for her surgery. Maccoy was vary brave. The hospital wanted us there at 9:30am. So we left home about 8:40am. We had to go and drop off Lindsay at Grandma Melling's house. (I don't know who was more excited Lindsay or Grandma Melling) After we dropped off Lindsay we headed to the hospital. When we got there they showed us which room was ours and it was the same one that Lindsay had. The nurse came in and told us that the doctor was running behind and that it would be about 11:30am or so. Maccoy was such a good sport about the whole thing. The poor girl hadn't eaten since midnight and she didn't ask if she could eat and she didn't say that she was hungry at all. The hospital had a lot of stuff for her to do. Well they came and got her at 11:40am and she was back about 20 after noon. She did well coming out of the anesthesia. When she woke up enough to really know what was going on she said that her hand hurt. so they gave her some Tylenol with codeine in it and it make her sick. but other then that she did really well.

This is Maccoy after her surgery.Maccoy got to have a Popsicle and she wanted an orange one. Maccoy's nurse was nurse Lindsey and she was so great and wonderful!

This is Maccoy with her "kiss" cover on her hand. I learned from Lindsay that you have to keep that thing covered or its going to be gross by the time they take it off.
