Guns and tons of pictures

So this summer we went shooting with Brady's sister and her family.

We had a ton of fun.

Oh the  kids had fun too.

This is Roger and Casey

 Ok now they are looking at me

 Here is the "Talk"

Roger was talking to the kids about gun safety,

shooting safety and staying behind the line we had set up.

 Here is the man that i love so much.

Great picture of him.

I wonder what he was smiling about cuz he doesn't smile for his picture to be taken.

But his smile does make him look good.
He can still melt my heart and give me butterflies.

 This is Lindsay just being silly

 This was the demonstration  of what happens if you get shot by a gun

Kids this is why we stay behind the line and why we don't play with guns.

Ok so there is a story behind this picture and the next one too.

See i was petrified to shoot a hand gun. 

Scared to death to do it.

So i gathered all my strength, well as the photos proves

i got over my fear.

I don't like to shoot the 9mm I like the 357 revolver best. 

We are women hear us roar.

Casey is the one who can do anything any guys can do.

She proved it to us all she went into the army.

Sammy wasn't feeling good. So she was sitting in the truck.

Brandy the dog didn't like the guns and she went and joined Sammy in the truck

This was one of them. She told me i had to take off my hat.

So you get me hat head and all.

At least i will be in a few pictures if someone else will take the camera.

I have to prove that i was alive and went on all these fun trips.

What a cutie. I cant believe how little hair she had back then.

It just cracks me up. I don't know why i think its so funny but i do.

This day was a ton of fun.

We all went home tired and dirty.

but it was because we had a fun day.

That's the kind of tired and dirty i like to be is after a fun filled day.

fire pit, smoke, family and food.

So we had a hot dog roast out back in our fire pit.

This was the first weekend that we met Heather who now is going to be married to Danny in about 2 weeks. Man i am behind on my blog.

I love that man. He is a wonderful husband.

We always have a ton of fun together.

I am so grateful that he is mine all mine forever.

 It takes a minute to figure out this picture but i will tell you who is in it.

So this is what is fun about having girls.

Putting curlers in their hair.

It takes a lot of time so i don't do it a lot but I do enjoy it.

Why?

 Because of the end result.



 I love the curly hair.

I remember when my mom would put curlers in my hair

THANK YOU!!

This post is a THANK YOU and a remembrance post.

First i want to remember all the people that lost their lives 10 years ago, all the families that ran out of tomorrows with their loved ones.

All the daddy's and Mommy's that never came home.

It makes me so sad to think of all the people that suffered from the attacks on our country.

All our lives have all changed from that fateful day.

Do you remember what you were doing, where you were at?

Did you think of your loved ones or what if it was me?

I did.

So I want to say Thank you to all the people that don't get the thanks they deserve.

Our fire fighters EMT and all the people that serve our country to keep us free. I have one fire fighter that is dear to my heart and that is my husband.

I have had the privilege to be on the fire department as a volunteer.

I know what our fire fighters have to go through.

SO Thank you for doing the stuff that is hard, gross, scary, and sadding some times.

Here is my husband Thank you for the 12 years.

This is Danny my brother in law. He is a fire fighter and an EMT.

He wasnt serving on 9/11 because he was to young.

But he has put in a lot of hours since.



There are a lot of people that i know that are fire fighters, EMTs, and service men / woman.

I don't have pictures of them all and i know that i will leave someone out. So forgive me.

 So to all a big

Something for my Grandma

I made this for my Grandma for her birthday.

What do you get for someone that you love a lot and you wanted it to be special?

You make something for them.

When you give a handmade gift your are truly giving a piece of yourself.

You give love.

So i took this idea from a friend of mine that had made something similar.

On this board is all the names of the family that came to be because of my Grandparents.

There is over 65 names on this board and there are more that i need to add in the next few months.

I love being crafty.
